On the occasion of World Arthritis Day,
We organised a theme based “Walkathon” –
RAFTAAR- Chalne ka naam zindagi!
Celebrating Mobility, Confidence, strength and resilience! by our all Joint Replacement Patients..
Over 250+ Patients and their families walked the entire path with confidence and passion, showcasing their successful and painfree mobility of life post surgery…!
Walkathon was followed by a grand interactive programme which included Dance performances by patients and their grandchildren, success stories of strength and courage , panel discussions and Q&A session by senior specialists
The event was graced by special chief guests of honour –
- Dr Sunita Godara – Marathon Queen of India
- Dr Harshvardhan – Former minister of Health & Welfare , who inspired the patients with their life experiences.
Dr Praveen Shukl- renowned poet of international repute- added flavour to the event with his poems which resonated the hall with bursts of laughter..!
What we witnessed was a perfect blend of emotions, strength, power and a sense of pride as they have successfully overcome the perils of immobility, dependence and pain…!!!
